LESSONS I LEARNED FROM VIDEO GAMES (feel free to add your own!)

Mass Effect:There will always be people telling you the fight is impossible. Fight anyway.

Assassin's Creed:Heroes can come from anywhere.

Fez:Sometimes solving a puzzle only takes looking at it from a different angle.

inFAMOUS:Give people second chances. They might surprise you.

Journey:The road may be long, but you don't have to walk it alone.

Civilization:Not all victories are the same.

Borderlands:Sometimes, you just need to laugh at yourself.

Minecraft:There is no limit to your imagination.

Skyrim:Practice makes perfect.

Pokemon:Friendship can overcome amazing odds.

Katamari Damacy:Even the smallest person can do something great.

Bioshock:Appearances can be deceiving. Even something that appears perfect can have deep flaws.

Dragon Age:Some things can't be changed. What matters is how you adapt to them.

Fallout:Even after the worst disasters, things can be rebuilt.

The Sims:No one man should have all that power.

The Last Of Us:Sometimes redemption comes from the most unexpected places.

Tetris:Do the best you can with what you have.

Portal:If you can't find a way, make your own.

flOw:Adaptation is the key to survival.

Far Cry:Never go on vacation. Just don't do it.

Since I’ve reached 500 followers, I decided to share my conversion of Poppet’s edit of Jessi’s Hand Outs & Punch Ups eyes. You just need to download the package und put it in the mods folder of the CAS demo (or the game when it’s time for that). It replaces all the 13 colours and I tried to use colours with a visible difference.

Thanks to Jessi for the eyes and to Poppet for the edit which you can find here. Have fun with them!

Exactly as it says in the title, a small followers’ gift made up of:

  • A retexture of one of my favourites Store hair, the bewitching bun that comes with Midnight Hollow. I used lilith-sims's edit of remisims's maxis match texture and adjust shine control, and I really like how it turned out as it's both shiny and cartoony enough to fit my game.
  • A lipstick. It started as In3s’s Dry Lips, but then I began to blend in different parts and adding some handpainting and the result is quite different from In3s’ original.
  • Freckles. The texture of this one are a mix of one of vasilla's freckles, one of my old sets of freckles, and some new textures. I categorized it as blush so that to make them CAStable and hence more darker-skintone friendly.
  • A nosemask. My initial project was to convert lilith-sims's Effy nosemask from TS2 to TS3, but I was very unsatisfied with the result, so I started over using this picture of Kaya Scodelario/Effy Stonem as base. My inner 14-years-old self was delighted. I also added some textures from brntwaffles's Sugarplum skin, and a lot of handpainting. If you look here, you’ll see it a side-by-side comparison between a sim with (right) and without it (left).

Enjoy, and let me know if there is any problem!
